TJ's Reeducation

TJ has been a pain in my arse since the first time he was found on my GS at the 2002 (or was that 3?) SMR. Since then he's been found on all my other bikes. Never really cared for the little booger. This past year at the 2007 Founder's Feast I was given the opportunity to reeducate the ol' boy. A lot of folks didn't think he'd survive. I knew he would as long as he learned a two or thing.

I'm using this gallery to document the reeducation process.

  • The last rays of sun and we could tell TJ was getting a bit restless.
  • TJ begged us to let him fly home. After a few weeks of reeducation and some steady progress, I reckon he's ready for some "me time." He took off shortly after sunset and said he'd see us sometime next week. We shall see.

  • We arrived in Memphis in one piece.
  • For some reason TJ was attracted to the bars. Maybe they remind him of his baby crib.
  • Or maybe they remind him of things to come.
  • He's up to his usual tricks of climbing all over the bikes. He especially likes Michaels "Wing of Freedom." Can't blame him. Nice paint job.
  • On our Christmas through Texas tour TJ wanted to have a chat with a man who's directly responsible for killing millions upon millions of his kind.
  • But since Bo is no longer available, his statue will have to do. If I heard TJ correctly, he was saying, "Let my people go!" or something like that.
  • That's him!!
  • I was out sniffin and look who showed up. I thought TJ was going to stay south a little longer, but apparently he felt home sick.
  • He was ready for the ride home.
  • I let him sit up front.
